The brief
Mabsout is an upbeat, feel-good song, and the film had to feel like Lebanon on a good day: the streets, the people, the light — energetic, warm and unmistakably local, without the cost of a multi-location street shoot with a large cast.
What we did
- A fully codified street aesthetic — locations, wardrobe, colour and lighting rules written down before the shoot and before a single frame was generated
- A live shoot with Waleed Tawfik and the cast, directed to cut seamlessly with the generated material
- A generative AI pipeline for environments, extensions and sequences, with locked character sheets so the cast never drifts between real and generated frames
- Edit, grade and delivery
Why it matters
The common failure of AI video is that it looks like everywhere and nowhere. Mabsout was built the opposite way: a specific place, specific people, specific light — a real shoot and a generative pipeline held to the same production-design rules, so the join between them disappears. That is the studio's standard for every hybrid film it makes.
